I enjoyed day trip for 20 km again and consumed 1,000 kcal, so I would like to write it.

I remembered that one of our guests said he wants to see the sea of Odaiba.

So today's destination is "Odaiba beach", the closest sea from the city center.

Stardted from plat hostel keikyu asakusa station as before!

I will go down Kokusai Dori Avenue to the side of Sky Tree, which I can see from the intersection of Kotobuki cho 4-chome.

On my way to Tsukiji Honganji from our hostel, I found a stylish cafe.

The name of this fashionable cafe is "LUCENT COFFEE"

The coffee offered by home roasting is the best cup I've ever had.

This time, I ordered"GUATEMALA" ice coffee.

It is recommended by the master.

It was a little heavy coffee, but it was very easy to drink, and it tasted good even after drinking.

I can't express it well, but when I took a sip, I thought, "This is it!"

I was happy to have a good coffee.

Please try it out.

And I arrived at Tsukiji Honganji!

7.jpg

It is a temple of "Ancient Indian and Asian Buddhist architecture" designed by Dr. Chuta Ito, one of Japanese representative architect.

There are 13 mysterious animals that can be found everywhere in the precincts.

Please look for them when you visit.

There is also a cafe on the site called Tsukiji Honganji Cafe Tsumugi.

This is also very good place!

(About 6 km/1 hour 30 minutes from the starting point)

This is a stylish dining bar in front of Tsukiji Honganji.

It is also good to observe Tsukiji Honganji Temple while drinking coffee.

The next target is the Tsukiji Outer Market.

Currently, it has moved to Toyosu Market, but there are still a lot of restaurants and specialty stores outside the venue.

10.jpg

There are about 60 stores in this Tsukiji market. Unfortunately they were closed today...

Tsukiji is still lively and has a good atmosphere!

I want to eat a seafood bowl full!

(About 500 m from Tsukiji Honganji / about 6 minutes)

Now, the next destination is

"Kachidokibashi Bridge"

11.jpg

Do you know this bridge?

History of Kachidoki bashi Bridge

There were many ships sailing along the Sumida River, and it was designed as a movable bridge that prioritizes water transportation over land transportation and it allowed large vessels to travel. It was open three times a day at 9:00 a.m, 12:00 a.m, and 3:00 p.m. for 20 minutes each time. Furthermore, Toden(one of Japanese train companies) was opened on December 24, 1948 and a tram crossed over the bridge.

However, since 1964, when the Tokyo Olympics were held, the frequency of opening the bridge has fallen below 100 times a year, and it is no longer opened after November 29, 1970.

It was built using the most advanced technology of the time, and in Japan's history of bridge technology, it was a national important cultural property in June 2007, along with the "Kiyosu Bridge" and "Eidai Bridge".

12.jpg

I can't believe a big bridge with a total length of 246m has opened.

This Kachidoki basi Bridge was built in 1940.

(650m/about 8 minutes from Tsukiji Honganji)

We're finally approaching to Odaiba!

There is a "photo spot" that I recommend in a 16-minute walk from the Kachidoki Bashi Bridge.

13.jpg

You can see "Rainbow Bridge". This bridge is popular brodge which conects between Tokyo amd Kanagawa prefecture.

You can see it on your way from Kachidoki Bridge to Harumi Bridge.

It's an irresistible scene for "bridge" lovers.

It should be more beautiful at night!

The collaboration between the green, the river and the promenade was beautiful.

Although the temperature was over 30 degrees on this day, the wind was pleasant and I felt very refreshed.

There is a bench in the middle of the bridge so you can take a break there.

(650 m/16 minutes from Kachidoki Bridge)

And here we are! This is Toyosu Market.

15.jpg

16.jpg

There is a food and drink corner where you can enjoy the fish auction.

Toyosu Market support our life.

17.jpg

From the footpath of Fujimi Bridge, which connects Toyosu and Koto-ku, you can see the night view of Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower.

It has a good atmosphere and is recommended for dating..

If you go by train, get off at Yurikamome "Shijou mae station" and walk for 13 minutes.

18.jpg

I could see the Ferris wheel in Odaiba from this point, but there was still a long distance on the map, so I tried my best while humming the songs that inspire me.

We're almost reaching to the sea!

20.jpg

I can see the symbol of Odaiba, Decks Tokyo Beach.

I finally arrived.

Approximately 13km, approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, 990 calories consumed.

I want to see the sea, so this is the end of the excursion that I walked from Asakusa.

I can see the sea in a mitune...

22 (2).png

It was underconstruction due to Olympic...

Oh God. I should have searched it...

But I could enjoy the beautiful scenery, historic buildings, and fashionable cafe on the way to here.

If I didn't want to see the sea of Odaiba, I would never have met such a wonderful place.

I wanted to believe that.

23.jpg

I will do my best next time to deliver useful information.

I'm happy if you reached here at the end of this article.
