20km walking to consume 1000kcal from plat hostel keikyu asakusa station

Hello!

Recently I have been worried my lack of exercise cannot be resolved easily.

When I was a high school student, I walked from the top of the mountain to the school. It was an event named "kyouho" in Japanese. The opportunity of this event was to strengthen your body and mind and get deepen your bond with your friends.

Remembering that event, I decided to do "kyoho" in order to solve the lack of exercise.

I hope it will be useful for everyone to take a walk from Asakusa!

Plat hostel keikyu asakusa station〜Sensoji-Temple・Asakusa Shrine〜Nakamise Shopping Street〜Imparial Palace〜Tokyo Dome〜Akasaka Palace (State Guest House)〜赤坂御所〜Meiji Jingu Shrine〜Harajuku〜Omotesando

First of all, Let's get started from plat hostel keikyu asakusa station!

I pray for travel safety at sensoji temple/asakusa shrine.

<About 8 minute from starting point>

After going to sensoji temple/asakusa shrine, I headed to the Imperial Palace through nakamise street.

As you may know, The Imperial Palace is famous for many people who enjoy Marathon.

Since I'm not a fast runner, I enjoyed looking at the Imperial Palace and while I walk the street corner out of the way.

(About 5km/1 hour from Sensoji Temple)

Next I did head to the Tokyo dome.

At this time in June this year, professional baseball games are held with no audience.

MLB Cafe is my favorite restaurant, but unfortunately it was temporarily closed.

Hope that you can enjoy the atmosphere when you have a chance to come there!

The next goal is the State Guest House, Akasaka Imperial Palace.

A luxurious facility for welcoming state guests is so gorgeous!

I felt as if I wan in foreign country. It was like a "castle".

Start walking from the west side of the State Guest House, I walked up to the side of Akasaka Imperial Palace to see the green forest and climb the slope.

It was the steepest slope, and the hardest part of this route.

(Approximately 5 km/1 hour 20 minutes from Tokyo Dome)

And I'm here!

Meiji Jingu Gaien.

The New National Stadium is very large. It's a huge.

It will be a lively place for many people next summer! I can't wait for the Olympics!

I'm sure there will be many emotions, records, and memories here.

(1.5km/about 20 minutes from State Guest House)

⚫︎ It's almost the end of this trip.

Next place is Meiji Shrine and Harajuku.

Meiji Shrine is always crowded with foreigners and tourists, but today was very calm and quiet.

I took a leisurely stroll through the calm atmosphere of Meiji Shrine.

When I'm in the woods,I felt that " Is this really Tokyo?" It's very quiet and different atmosphere from the central part of Tokyo.

(About 2 km/30 minutes from New National Stadium)

The next stop is Harajuku.

I am not very fashionable.

However, I felt a sense of being out of place without worrying about it, I walked between Omotesando Hills and fashionable shops and arrived at the final destination, Omotesando Station!

It was really good time to walk from Asakusa.

The journey to here was 18km and took about 4 hours.

It is about 30 minutes from Omotesando station G02 on the Ginza line to Tawaramachi station G19.

You don't need to change trains from Omotesando station to Tawaramachi station, the nearest station from plat hostel keikyu asakusa station.

It made me so hungry...

I looked for something to eat on my way home(even I consumed a lot of calories!).

How was it?

I would be happy if you would be interested in a long walk from Asakusa.

Look forward to the next time!
