Kissaten is the Japanese retro style cafe. You can enjoy retro style Japanese food such as Omelletrice, napolitan spaghetti, pancakes, and good coffee there.

They have many various foods and drinks, and price is good！

Lodge Akaishi

This coffee shop is located only 3 minutes from Sensoji Temple!
However, it is located off the busy path, so the surrounding area has a relaxed atmosphere.

I had the impression that there were many regular customers in the restaurant.
It was lunch time when I visited, so I had a choice between the lunch menu and the regular menu.

I had the shrimp sandwich, which is said to be the specialty of Lodge Akaishi!

Three slices of sandwich with plenty of shrimp cutlets and cabbage tossed in tartar sauce was the best.

This alone will fill you up! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well.

The menu is also very extensive and includes pasta, udon, set menus, rice bowls, toast... etc.　
You can find anything you want to eat at this restaurant!

Also, there seem to be many foreign customers, and it was impressive to see the staff responding in English!

The atmosphere of retro lighting at night also seems nice.

Many stores in Asakusa close early at night, but this one is open until midnight, which is very nice!
