plat hostel keikyu haneda home ~ The first sunrise ~
Hi,there! This is plat hostel keikyu haneda home.
It's been almost two weeks since the year 2022, and of course it's still cold!
Did you see the first sunrise this year?
Some people saw it from the top of mt.Fuji, or an airplane, or at other famous spots, or in your neighborhood.
So today I'd like to introduce you to the old Otorii gate, a 5-minute walk from our hostel.
This torii is a large torii of the former Anamori Inari Shrine.
There used to be an Anamori Inari Shrine near here, but it was demolished due to various post war circumstances. However, only the red torii gate in front of the gate was not removed and was left in the parking lot at Haneda Airport. It was later relocated and is now in its current location.
Haneda Airport can be seen in the back, and the Tama River runs beside it.
It is also the starting and ending point for those who cycle along the Tama River, and we often see people who leave their bicycles and take a rest here.
In front of the torii, there is a stone monument with an overview of this large torii!

Most torii gates do not have bell ropes, but this large torii gate does.
It's colorful and very cute!
This torii is called "Peace Torii".
There is also a donation box set up to pray for world peace. The decoration on that is also very cute!
It is used as a resting space for locals!
You can have a light meal or sit on the ground and relax, so you can spend a lot of time!

The weather was great, so we were able to see a wonderful sunrise.
