Hello, this is plat hostel keikyu haneda home!

The year 2021 is coming to an end, and it feels like the end of the year.

How are you all doing?

We have started a new service at our hostel!

We collaborated for the first time with "Jiyu-cho", a store where you can send letters to the future, and created a new product under the concept of sending travel memories to your future self, titled "MEMORY CLIPS".

This time, Haneda staff went on a sightseeing tour of Asakusa to experience the product, and we would like to share with you some of what we saw.

First of all, when it comes to Asakusa, you have to visit Kaminarimon!

This is November, but it looks like the tourists are slowly coming back and there were a lot of people waiting in front of Kaminarimon to catch up!

After meeting at Kaminarimon, we went to Imado Shrine, which is famous for matchmaking, and the Japanese ginkyo trees looked beautiful in the sunny autumn weather.

The results of the love fortune are tucked away in MEMORY CLIPS.

They're famous for their cute love fortunes that have been featured on TV, so definitely pay them a visit!

After getting excited about the fortune, we came back to Kaminarimon and strolled around the streets of Nakamise.

It looks like there are only a few people here, but at lunchtime it was crowded with young women in kimonos and students on school trips!

Whenever I visit Asakusa, I always end up taking a lot of pictures of the charming streets.

The area called Ura Asakusa, located behind Sensoji Temple, is a new tourist spot with famous rice shops and stylish cafes for those in the know.

In such Ura Asakusa, I came across a chiffon cake store.

Encountering new stores is one of the best parts of traveling, isn't it!

Now, after a long walk around Asakusa, we went to Jiyu-chou's store in Kuramae, armed with store cards and photos of the stores we met today!

Here's how many items we've collected in a day!

We are now going to clip each card or photo onto a postcard and write our memories on it.

The finished product looks like this!

Even if you go to the same place, you may cut out different memories, so it will be fun to compare the completed album with your friends.
