Hello everyone!

This is plat hostel keikyu Asakusa station!

Summer break has already ended and September has just begun.

Although it's still hot, let's get in shape and feel for the cool autumn!

This time, we would like to introduce one of the nearby stores.

It is called "Shichigosan" located next to a supermarket called "My Basket", a 2-minute walk from the hostel. "Shichigosan" is a monjayaki and okonomiyaki shop.

When you get inside, the smell of savory sauce will make your mouth water for sure.

This time I ordered the "Shichigosan Trial Set"!It is a set that you can enjoy both okonomiyaki and monjayaki for only 1,000 yen!It's quite cool that you can enjoy it without having to worry about which to choose.

It's squid and sakura shrimp monjayaki and pork okonomiyaki.If you eat it elsewhere, it costs more than 1500 yen, so it's really good value.

At this shop, the clerk will carefully bake each one.You can spend time just talking while baking and enjoy the waiting time.

The time is adjusted so that you can wait for the completion of okonomiyaki while eating monja, so it is recommended for those who do not have time during lunch break.

There are various seasonings you can use to adjust the taste.It seems fun to try various flavors and find your favorite way of eating.

For those who like a more spicy one, try "Seto spicy thick sauce" !

As the name suggests, the sauce, which has a moderate spiciness and a rich taste, is actually really thick.

It was my first time trying okonomiyaki with such spicy sauce though, I really liked it and enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, it's open for a short time now and doesn't serve sake, but there are snacks and teppanyaki that go well with sake, so hopefully we will try them next time.
