Hello! This is the plat hostel keikyu minowa forest.
The restaurant I'll be introducing this time is "Restaurant Kabuto", where you can eat hearty hamburgers and steaks!

The location is only an 8-minute walk from our hostel, very close to Y's Mart, the well-known supermarket in Minowa. You can get there from Minowa Station on a straight road.

The sign that says "RESTAURANT Kabuto" is a landmark! This is what the exterior looks like.

Once inside, I was overwhelmed by the foreign atmosphere that I couldn't imagine from the exterior. The interior was decorated with artificial flowers such as ivy and hibiscus, as if we were in a jungle! There were surfboards and other Hawaiian ornaments and souvenirs on display.

There are several tables that can seat four people, and the desks are spacious enough for you to sit comfortably.

I forgot to take a picture of the menu list, but the hamburgers are available in 150g, 200g, 300g, and 100g increments up to a whopping 1kg!
By the way, 150g was 1000 yen, and 1kg was 5250 yen. The more you eat, the more you save!

In addition to Hamburg steak, there are various other dishes such as steak and pasta.

I ordered a 150g hamburger steak!
As you can see in the picture, it also comes with soup, radish salad, and a drink you can choose.

And here it is, the long-awaited hamburger steak! It was served hot on the iron plate, which was sure to raise my spirits!
I was very satisfied with the traditional taste of the hamburger steak, full of juicy meat. The pasta and potatoes that came with the hamburger were also very tasty and well seasoned!

There are actually various types of hamburger sauces, and I chose the Kabuto sauce, an original demi-glace sauce. There are also seven other sauces to choose from, including garlic sauces, wasabi sauces, and onion sauces.

It was so delicious that I ate 150g of it with room to spare, lol!
Next time, I'd definitely like to try a bigger size!
