These days, it's been difficult to spend time in the city with typhoons and extremely hot days.

Shaved ice is one of the most popular foods to eat in this season.

But this time, I want to eat ramen all year round.

The restaurant I'm going to introduce is a ramen shop for lunch, an izakaya (Japanese style pub) for dinner, and a bento shop.

This time it's the lunch version!

The name of the restaurant is "Tori Wakamaru"!

It's a simple and easy walk from our hostel, and it's only a five-minute walk away, and you can even take it out.

Let's take a look at the menu!

I went there for ramen for lunch, but I thought I'd like to have some rice as well.

I didn't expect to find a bowl of chashu rice!

And they also have summer-only tsukemen...

I ordered thick tsukemen, ton toro ramen, yaki ago dashi ramen, and chashu donburi.

Ton toro ramen has a really rich taste, the Yaki Ago Dashi Ramen was light, and I finished both of them in no time at all! The chashu-don also came with a delicious sauce that went perfectly with the rice!

The tsukemen was also very filling, and the thick soup was very appetizing!

The taste, volume, and location of this restaurant make it one of our staff's favorite places to eat, so if you're ever in the area, be sure to stop by Toriwakaen!
