plat hostel keikyu minowa forest ~Blackboard Introduction 1~

Hello!

This is plat hostel keikyu minowa forest!

This time, we' d like to introduce to you the illustrations that have been written on the large blackboard in Minowa Forest!

Many of the illustrations on the blackboard are written by us, but there are also some that are requested by our guests, and some that our guests have added to the blackboard!

This is the "tree" that represents the minowa forest, and the "Kaminarimon" of Sensoji Temple, a 20-minute walk from our hostel!

According to the staff who drew it, he tried to make the illustrations a little more elaborate than the usual angles!

The delicate use of white chalk makes it look as if it has been colored!

The gradual fading of the chalk color is one of the beauties of chalk art, as it seems to fade away!

The title of this one is "Moon and Sun".

Whether it has a title or not is a whim of the staff!

The staff member who has written many illustrations says this is his favorite one!

She drew it while imagining the forest changing into various colors when illuminated by the moon and sun!

It's a very creative and deep illustration!

Next up is this one!

This illustration was drawn during Halloween!

The one in the back is our hostel!

I thought it was the standard Halloween bat, but there's also a strange creature flying around in the upper left corner!

The artist from minowa forest, who created this illustration, says that when he draws chalk art, he always has a hard time deciding whether to draw a gorgeous image or something with a strong message.

He says he always tries to draw illustrations that will make people's hearts dance when it's seasonal!

And finally, here!

It's an illustration drawn during the Christmas season!

It's a large tree drawn to match the atmosphere of the minowa forest, and it's a participatory illustration where guests can post their Christmas wishes!

It was a joint work with our guests, and a wonderful artwork for the end of the year.

It matches the Christmas decorations at the top of the picture, creating a nice atmosphere!

The artist's dream is to go to the Matterhorn in Switzerland, and he says he draws it so much that he can do it without even looking at anything!

That's how much he loves drawing and illustrating, and he'd like you to enjoy the various chalk arts at our hostel!

What do you think?

This time, I've posted illustrations of the blackboards of the past, but there are actually more to come!

So I'll try to post them another time!

I'm sure some of the guests who have stayed before may have seen them before!

I hope the illustrations on this blackboard will be a memory for everyone!
