Today is Tanabata!

Tanabata is one of japanese traditional cultures. The date is on July 7th.

It is based on the legendary meeting of two stars, Hikoboshi and Orihime, which are represented by Altair and Vega, respectively.

After his marriage to Orihime, they are separated from the two banks of the Milky Way. However, the god permitted Hikoboshi and Orihime to reunite once a year on July 7th. So Tanabata is held on that day every year, and it is said to be the day when lovers can reunite.

How did you spend Tanabata?

We write our wishes on a strip of paper and hang it on bamboo grass.

My wish was 'I want to be Super-Saiyan!', he is like superman, so it never happened, I do remember.

As an adult, I don't often get the chance to write wishes on strips of paper, even though there is an event called Tanabata, so it was really fun to remember my childhood!

We will leave the bamboo tree after the 7th for a bit longer.
