『Kimono rentals Aiwafuku』

Hello, this is plat hotsel keikyu asakusa karin.

It's getting close to the day of the Olympics. How are you all doing?

A few days ago, we visited Aiwafuku in Asakusa.

Aiwafuku was founded in April 2015 and currently has three stores in Asakusa and two in Kyoto specializing in kimono rentals.

The company wishes women all over the world to feel Japanese culture through the experience of kimono.

Also, they want to share the beauty of kimono and want the younger generation to enjoy wearing kimono.

Mr. Hata, the president of the company with 40 years of experience in the industry, founded the company with these thoughts.

When you visit the shop, you will see a lot of beautiful kimonos!

Among them, the "Taisho Roman Plan" is said to be very popular, and the retro patterned kimono matches the historic Asakusa district and looks very cute.

It would also look stylish with a unique bag!

This summer's new product, the "lace yukata," is quite popular among the youth! The lace material is breathable and looks cool, so you can enjoy it comfortably even in the summer . You can also enjoy your original coordination that utilizes the lacy look of the yukata.

This is an ISE cotton kimono tailored by Mr. Hata. The material is soft and smooth, and it is comfortable to wear in any season. Looks simple, cute and sophisticated when combined with lace!

The price includes everything: dressing fee, hair set, hair ornaments, obi belt, undergarments, and large luggage storage, with no extra charge.

The all-inclusive price is easy to understand, making it easy for first-time customers to try.

We were also able to talk with the manager.

She said that recently, it seems that the trend is to have original ways of wearing kimonos, not just the traditional ones. She also said that it makes her happy to see customers who were dressed in kimonos with great joy going out into the streets of Asakusa.

There were people who rented a kimono as a surprise present for their friend's birthday, so they could go sightseeing together in kimono! She was impressed by this great idea, and learned the unique way of using the service from their customers, she said.

If you are considering renting a kimono, you may be wondering how long it will take to finish the kimono if you go as a group. Don't worry about that either.

The manager reliably replied "We can always meet our customer's request of how many people want to go and at what time. We have a long history of meeting various requests, so we have confidence."

It seems that not only are the kimonos beautiful, but also Aiwafuku's staff is highly skilled.

Also the staff can speak English and Chinese as well.

If you come to Asakusa, why don't you wear a beautiful kimono and explore the traditional town?

There are various deals and campaigns available, such as student discounts and couples plans, so please visit Aiwafuku's website for more details.

We are currently working on a special plan in collaboration with Aiwafuku, so please look forward to it!
