First of all, we would like to introduce about "Tokyo Mizumachi" and "Sumida Riverwalk".

"Sumida River Walk"

It takes 3 minute from Asakusa station on foot. New route opened in June which can cross the sumida river. Since it is parallel to the Sumida River Bridge that the Tobu Skytree Line runs through, you can see the train crossing the river up close!

It's only 3 minute to cross it but, it will be really enjoyable to see the views and feel breeze.

Since Tokyo Skytree official character "Sorakara chan" is hidden in somewhere on the route, why don't you look for it?

"Tokyo Mizumachi"

When you across the Sumida River Walk, you will see Tokyo Mizumachi, the underground elevated commercial complex which just opened on June 18th, 2020..

There are many shops standing in a row, as a new downtown community spot.

You can enjoy shopping and eat something with relaxing atmosphere, because it is an area surrounded by greens.

Tokyo Mizumachi has two sections, the West Zone and the East Zone, the shop of west zone is opening now.

Since the shop of east zone also open sequentially,it's definitely that the excitement will increase more and more. Please come and visit the new spots in Asakusa!

"Sumida Park"

Sumida park is a big park which is covered full of cherry blossom in spring and holding Fireworks Festival in summer that's why definitely　plenty of highlights for you.

The cherry blossoms in full bloom in spring are selected as one of Japan's 100 most famous cherry blossom spots!

Ushijima Shrine and Japanese garden are located in the large park, and if you go further, you will also see a fishing pond and the Sanba Shrine, which is often depicted in Ukiyo-e. (genre of Japanese art)

We recommend to buy a meal in Tokyo Mizumachi and having a picnic in the park!

"Oyokogawa Water Park"

This park across the town of Asakusa.

Popular spot for people who wants to enjoy cycling or fishing at fishing ponds.

It will be nice to take a walk in a morning and also enjoyable for a family, it has a fountain, a long slide. Children are playing energetic under the sun, coloring the town of Asakusa.
